Blue Mesa Group’s Transformational Coach Program is designed for those who want to coach in a business or organizational. We offer a combination of face-to-face and distance learning, and include individualized learning plans to address the specific needs of our clients.
Masterful coaches are aware, engaged, and ready to facilitate conscious and effective action. This means they are in continuous pursuit of personal mastery, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and keen and precise understanding of the self. The TCP provides the content, context, and application for coaches to learn this way of being, so they in turn, can coach organizational leaders effectively. We follow W. Edwards Deming’s approach to organizational transformation – he says, “Nothing happens without personal transformation”. Our program promotes self-awareness, consciousness, systems thinking, and creating meaningful and sustainable results that matter today and in the future.
The first step in becoming a powerful coach is to know one’s self. Through our own growth, we gain insight; develop intuition, compassion, humility, love, respect, wonder, awe, and empathy. These are THE qualities that make a coach masterful. They create the space for great coaching by allowing others to access their internal wisdom and knowing. A vital component of this course is the study and practice of contemplation and meditation so the coach can be fully present and self aware for the coaching process.
In the TCP, participants will learn how to help another interpret what is possible. They will deepen their listening skills; learn the art of delicate but powerful inquiry, and how to imagine for the future. Additionally, the program addresses personal mastery and power, authentic leadership, integral coaching, integrity, and emotional/social intelligence. Several tools will be presented and participants are expected to master all of these tools.
