Legacy Planning – What’s in Your Future?
Have you ever wondered what you would do with your coach training organization and associated intellectual property, a.k.a. your life’s work, if, and when, you decide to take a different path in your life? While I don’t see retirement in my future, I do think about lightening my load to allow for more time for family, friends, leisure time and self-care.
Where do you see yourself in 2, 5 or 10 years?
I have been in conversation with other coach trainers about what we need to do to start legacy/succession planning. For those who have been in business for 20+ years, it is an important and timely question and we need not explore it alone. Consider your friends and colleagues in the ACTO community and the collective wealth of knowledge we possess!
This reminds me of the “Open Space” sessions at past ACTO Conferences. We have an opportunity to collaborate with leaders from other coach training organizations to explore our options and experience in support of our future endeavors. It’s a “win-win” in my book.
I am pleased to announce that starting in August 2021, I will be hosting the first in a series of forums to explore our future paths and what we need to create legacy plans for our organizations.
