Subject: Help ACTO Sunset with Grace, Integrity, and Zero Debt

Dear Treasured Members of the ACTO Community,

This is not a message we ever imagined writing—and yet, we write it with honesty, care, and deep respect for the community that has made ACTO what it is.

As we shared in our January 2026 message, ACTO’s Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to conclude operations at the end of the current membership year, formally sunsetting on June 30, 2026. Since publishing this news, we have heard from a number of you expressing your deep sadness about this decision and sharing personal stories about the powerful impact ACTO has had on the coaching environment over the years.

Without doubt, ACTO has been more than just a coaching organization. It has been a professional home, a learning community, a living commitment to a values-driven stand, and a global gathering place for coaches committed to equity, justice, and systemic awareness. The legacy of ACTO lives in the relationships formed, the consciousness raised, and the countless coaching conversations shaped by The ACTO Stand.

As we move toward closure, our commitment is clear:

We want ACTO to close well—with transparency, compassion, integrity, and zero debt.

We’re Asking for Your Support

Since COVID, ACTO has experienced a sustained decline in membership and revenue, while operational costs have remained relatively stable or in some cases, increased slightly. Despite exploring multiple pathways forward, a financial analysis makes clear the fact that we do not have sufficient reserves to complete this final year of operations and responsibly meet all legal, contractual, and programmatic obligations without additional support.

Our goal is not to extend ACTO beyond its natural lifecycle—but to honor it. To this end, we have initiated a GoFundMe campaign to raise $4000 by the end of June 2026. Funds raised through this campaign will allow ACTO to:

  • Meet all remaining financial and legal obligations
  • Support staff and contractors through an ethical and humane transition
  • Continue delivering promised programming and member value through June 2026
  • Preserve ACTO’s records, learning assets, and legacy
  • Close as an organization aligned with its values, not diminished by debt or crisis
