Dear Members and Friends of ACTO,

I hope you’re doing well and staying healthy, although many of us are going through difficult times. Our path is not always easy, and the obstacles may seem impossible. However, I invite you, like the mythical phoenix, to see these challenges as opportunities to rise stronger as coaches we are.

Most of us face uncertainty, frustration, and loss in our professional and personal lives. At times, things we’ve built seem to crumble before our eyes. But it is precisely in these moments that our true character is tested. When everything is falling apart, we have a unique opportunity to rebuild ourselves from the ashes.

No matter how big, every challenge is a step toward a more robust version of ourselves. It’s not the falls that define us but how we rise after them. They testify to our resilience, ability to adapt, grow, and keep moving forward with renewed energy, new perspectives, and a refreshed passion for what we do.

I want you to know that you are not alone on this journey. We are coaches and coach trainers, and we form a community. As such, we support one another. We share our experiences, learn from our mistakes, and find inspiration in each other’s successes. If you have been through hard times, it is precisely in those moments that we show what we can achieve.

Today, I invite you to see difficulties not as insurmountable barriers but as challenges that push us to grow. Each obstacle we overcome brings us closer to our goals, and every lesson learned makes us better professionals and, more importantly, better people. Please participate in our monthly activities to feel like you are part of our community.

Like the phoenix, we can be reborn in the fire of difficulties. Let us take this opportunity to rise again, filled with new strength and renewed energy. Let’s not allow setbacks to define us, but instead, let them serve as a springboard toward reaching our highest aspirations.

I have complete faith in our ability to rise again individually and collectively. Yes, this can be a challenging time and a time of transformation. Together, we can achieve, go further, and feel better.

I respect and admire each of you for the strength you have already demonstrated.

I encourage you to keep moving forward, trust in the process, and trust yourselves.

After all, we are coaches, and most of us want to impact the world positively.

With appreciation and gratitude,

Virginia González-Vélez
