As trainers, part of our mentoring role is to help new coaches build viable practices. That involves engaging new coaches in a coaching conversation about business development. We will look at how to educate our coaches in best practices regarding practice building so that they can improve their business aptitude while reducing magical thinking. In this open discussion, we will consider how to: help new coaches set realistic expectations about income; identify options for monetizing their skills; attract and retain clients; move forward with their coaching career.
