The presentation will cover the basics of Appreciative Inquiry and touch on the following:

Appreciative Inquiry as a paradigm shift in enabling change, where change is enabled by amplifying what gives life to that person. I will discuss how it creates a strong foundation based on the strengths already present, to give the velocity and power to imagine and achieve dreams which we may not dare to articulate otherwise. This change is also more sustainable because it is built on the strong foundation of what already exists.

The principles and philosophy of Appreciative Inquiry have been used to facilitate change across large systems and in individuals because they are universally true. It is one of the most powerful methods available to us as coaches. This presentation will give an introduction to this method and how it is used in coaching.

The process of Appreciative Coaching takes one through the entire arc of coaching and all competencies are covered. It’s power lies in helping the client reach a clear topic for coaching through deep Listening, leading to a clear agreement (Competency 3 & 6). Inquiring Appreciatively is a process which encompasses building Trust (Competency 4), and Inquiry deep Exploration (Competency 7). It enables bold dreams and makes them accessible using the step of Drenching, leading to Client Growth (Competency 8).
