This call will preview the discussion and intentions of an upcoming 2-day Summit,
taking place this spring in Battle Creek, Michigan. The summit is the product of an
original concept, subsequent planning and collaboration from a team of coach
educators that came together at an Open Space session at the ACTO Conference
2015. The Summit will highlight the issues of power, privilege, rank and culture and
their impact on coach education.

Participants in this call and at the Summit will engage in a conversation about power
and culture in the areas of curriculum, school policies, field building, coaching
competencies, and individual consciousness. The ideas discussed in this call may be
used to inform portions of the curriculum for the Summit.
