Jan is an experienced leadership coach and coach educator, founder of Coaching Works! Jan designs and delivers bespoke coaching, action learning and coach training programmes for individuals, teams and organisations. She has worked with hundreds of leaders in education, government, health, community and creative industry contexts.

As Regional Director and strategic lead for coaching for the Department for Education Standards Unit, Jan developed the concept of Subject Learning Coaches for post-16 education in England, with 4,000+ practitioners trained in coaching approaches.

Jan has been Board Director of Association of Coach Training Organisations (ACTO) since 2013 and is co-chair of the 2015 Conference committee. She previously served as Director of UK ICF and was Co-Chair of ICF Global Education Committee for London 2012. Formerly a college Director of Teaching and Learning, government inspector and consultant, Jan has always been passionate about catalysing positive change.
