Join Teri-E as she inspires us with the amazing journey of coaching from its roots to the many shoots it has sent forth into the world.
Teri-E Belf is one of the pioneers of coaching, and has been called ‘the Godmother of Credentialing’ for her leadership in developing ICF credentials. She is a purposeful and inspiring coach leader who has maintained her passion for the profession for over 30 years with personal and professional coaching on 5 continents and 25 years as a coach trainer and mentor. She helped shape the profession from its very roots, and continues to contribute to its evolution. She educates audiences and readers through speaking, writing, teaching, volunteering, and being a role model demonstrating the ethics and values of coaching.
Teri-E was a board member of the Personal and Professional Coaches Association (PPCA) , founder of G-WAC (Greater Washington Alliance of Coaches) and the creator of the world’s 1st International Coaching Symposium, Sharing Visions, Resources, and Approaches to the Art and Science of Coaching.
She proposed and chaired the 1st ICF Credential, Accreditation and Continuing Education Committee for PPCA and transferred the work to ICF after PPCA and ICF merged. Teri-E led this committee of 13 to design the foundation for our profession. She is the Executive Director of an ICF accredited ACTP program since 2000, training and mentoring coaches and coach trainers. She also founded the SUN Community, a global network of coaches who engage in annual 4-5 day coaching continuing education events (33 to date).
Most importantly, Teri-E enthusiastically fulfills her life purpose by inspiring and guiding people to take steps towards their dreams and inspiring authentic service to the sacred.

Professor Hawkins will also show how coach trainings can make a step change in preparing coaches for the future.
