Subject: Honoring the Ending, Embracing What Becomes Possible
Dear Beloved ACTO Community,
In moments like this, we are reminded that endings are rarely singular. They are layered, complex, and often filled with seemingly conflicting emotions—grief and gratitude, loss and love, closure and continuation.
As we move toward the sunset of ACTO, we find ourselves holding all of this at once.
While holding these emotions, more importantly, we are honoring the ending—not just of an organization, but of a shared chapter that has shaped who we are as practitioners, leaders, and human beings. ACTO has been a space where values were not just discussed, but lived; where courageous conversations deepened awareness; and where a diverse, global community came together in service of something grander than any one of us.
Let us acknowledge this ending possesses profound power and quiet possibilities for the future. Let us embrace the space this ending is providing.
Space for reflection.
Space for integration.
Space for new forms of connection, community and service to emerge.
ACTO has never been just an organization. ACTO has been a force for transformational change; enabling the coaching community to see, think, and lead differently. Seeing, thinking and leading differently never ends but lives on within each of us.
As we continue these final months together, we do so with intention:
To close with integrity.
To honor what has been.
And to remain open to what is becoming.
Thank you for the many ways you have contributed to this community—with your presence, your courage, your care, and your commitment to a more inclusive, equitable, just and conscious coaching profession.
You have and will continue to be the change you want to see in the world.
With deep gratitude and respect,
The ACTO Board of Directors
