EVOLVING FROM THE ESSENCE – Weaving Global Voices, the ACTO conference 2022.
CONFERENCE THEME
This year’s theme encourages us to connect and interweave from the core of coaching, and to reclaim our intuitive and natural to reclaim our intuitive and natural ways of being as coaches. The theme challenges us to discard what we know and move towards UN-coaching.
What can we get curious about there? How can we bring greater focus to weave in the voice of the feminine and the cultures that have been minimized? What are some new threads that can disrupt the fabric of the industry? What needs to be heard once more and… most importantly, what has not yet been spoken?
Coach Training organizations play a crucial and privileged role in this conversation, and the conference is an invitation to pause, celebrate, rebalance and recalibrate our calling and our craft. The tiny virus has given us a clear message that we must return to the core and then embrace the difference.
At the conference speakers and presenters will celebrate diversity and spotlight radical innovations in coaching that can serve the cause of what our planet needs to thrive. Let’s open our hearts and voices to provoke thoughts around new frontiers for coaching and planetary transformation. Extrapolating the conference theme, we will have the following tracks and sub-themes to support a flexible frame for exploration and dialogue.

In this track let us address coaching in the context of societal, and systemic awareness, anti-oppression work, navigating power and power differentials as coaches, and technology as a tool for social transformation.How can coaches and coach training organisations navigate power differentials?

THE FABRIC
weaves float outwards into the ever-expanding future and the realm of the unknown. This track focuses on the evolving field of coaching beyond competencies, the space of spirituality and consciousness within coaching, research on emergent paradigms , and the impact of coaching on the future of our planet.What are we moving towards?
What lies ahead for coach education?
Our Conference gives you the opportunity to meet coaching professionals from all over the world, with the character that defines us as a boutique association where the treatment among us is welcoming and caring. It will be a venue for critical thinking and sharing insights into what works, as it inspires us to collaborate in moving that goal forward.
